Monica + Shannon Brown Welcome Baby Girl Laiyah [PHOTO]

Just a mere week and a half after announcing the sex and name of her baby at a circus-themed baby shower, R&B singer Monica has given birth to a girl, Laiyah.

Congrats to the brand-new mama and herbasketball player hubbie, Shannon Brown!

Baby Laiyah was born on Tuesday (Sept. 3), but Brown didn't gush about his baby girl until yesterday, even Instagramming a photo of his new addition. You can check out that adorable image above.

Vanessa Bryant, former wife of Brown's teammate Kobe Bryant, also shared the news on Instagram, writing:

"I am so honored to announce that baby Laiyah Brown has arrived! Mommy and baby are healthy and well. Congratulations [Shannon] and [Monica]! We love you guys and we can't wait to meet Laiyah! #6lbs 9/3/13"
