In news that should shock no one, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may have called off their wedding.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that they've split up or broken their engagement.

The couple, plagued by split and cheating rumors, were slated to tie the knot in mere months, but those plans have been delayed indefinitely.

A source told Life & Style (via Radar Online), "They were supposed to get married in June. But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment.”

Even the couples' own broods are unsure of their status. When asked if the wedding was happening, Liam Hemsworth's sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky (who's married to Adonis Chris Hemsworth), told the mag, “I don’t know. If they get married, it would be nice to go."

“They aren't ready,” the source added. “Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. “They’re very young to be getting married.”

That may be the most mature thing Cyrus has done since the news broke. (Previously she was busy twerking, toking and taking superficial breaks from social media.)
