UPDATE: Reps have now confirmed to People that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their engagement.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth broke up, but may not necessarily be completely dunzo just yet.

"They've split for now," a source told Radar Online. "Miley and Liam have a very tumultuous relationship and both are exhausted. It's a complicated relationship. The wedding is on hold, for now. It's not cancelled but it doesn't look promising."

Tongues started wagging even more than Cyrus' does once the 'Wrecking Ball' singer and her parents all unfollowed the Aussie hunk on Twitter over the weekend.

As for Hemsworth, he's done a bit more than incite Twitter drama -- allegedly. He was spotted at the Las Vegas Mayweather-Alvarez match solo, and he's been rumored to be sexting January Jones and hooking up with random girls at parties. Yowza!

"They're just weeks away from calling it off permanently," a source told Us Weekly. "Liam feels very distant emotionally from Miley these days."

While neither Hemsworth nor Cyrus has commented on the relaysh, if they did in fact split, the breakup couldn't have come at a better time for Cyrus. Her lovelorn song 'Wrecking Ball' is slated to be her first No. 1 track, and with free publicity like this, it could stay that way for a while.
