After over 20 years, director Michael Moore and his producer wife, Kathleen Glynn, are calling it quits.

PEOPLE reports that Moore, 59, filed a divorce petition against Glynn, 55, on June 21, citing "no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved." Yikes.

The pair married in Moore and Glynn's beloved shared hometown of Flint, Mich. in 1991.

Glynn produced most of Moore's films, including 'Bowling for Columbine,' 'Fahrenheit 911' and 'Sicko.' She also contributed to Moore's newsletter, 'The Flint Voice.'

Per the pair's divorce papers, Moore filed a restraining order against Glynn that blocks her from selling any of their shared assets. The couple have no children.

Here's hoping the lack of Glynn's production doesn't stop Moore from making more movies. That would be a tragedy worthy of its own documentary.
