In February of 2012, actress Lucy Lawless was arrested during a Greenpeace protest aboard an oil driller in her native homeland of New Zealand. Now, she and other members of the activist group have been sentenced.

She's not called Lucy Lawless for nothing. Sorry. (Not sorry.)

Lawless and her literal partners in crime were fined a mere $547 and ordered to complete 20 hours of community service by a judge on Thursday, Feb. 7 -- a ruling Lawless called a “great victory” since Shell Todd Oil Services, the company that owns the driller, was seeking $545,000 from the rabble-rousers.

"I consider it a great victory that the court has struck down the reparation demand from Shell, which I think was absolutely ludicrous," Lawless said.

During the protest, Lawless spent four days atop the 174-foot tower on the ship to protest “oil exploration in the Arctic.” During her stint, which slightly delayed the ship's voyage, she camped out and blogged about her experiences.

She says she has no regrets, and is more than happy to pick up litter, clean toilets, or complete whatever community service is required of her. The actress is just glad she could raise some awareness about drilling in the arctic, and plans to continue protesting “climate change” and “oil drilling” in the future.

And this is why you do not mess with Xena, Warrior Princess.
