Continuing the streak of super awesome 'Star Trek' alumni like Patrick Stewart and George Takei, Leonard Nimoy is using his Vulcan voice for good.

Speaking as Spock himself, Nimoy voiced his support for immigration reform on Twitter -- and it was as amazing and adorable as you'd expect, in addition to being poignant and profound.

Nimoy tweeted Tuesday in hopes that Congress would pass the reform bill, using his own experiences as the son of an immigrant barber in Boston to illustrate his points.

He also signed off on everything with "LLAP" -- for "Live long and prosper." If you didn't love him before, whether or not you agree with his politics, we bet you do now.

After all, it's only logical.
