Kerry Washington + Nnamdi Asomugha Got Married

Congrats to Kerry Washington! The stunning 'Scandal' star tied the knot to San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

Us Weekly reports that the pair married in secret late last month in Idaho. Asomugha and Washington filed for a marriage license June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho, but the actual ceremony was performed by Asomugha's sister in Hailey, Idaho with Washington's parents as witnesses.

The Blaine County clerk confirmed, saying in a statement, "It has been recorded in the Blaine County clerk's office that Nnamdi Asomugha and Kerry Washington have been married on the 24th of June in the town of Hailey, Idaho."

Washington and Asomugha have been dating since summer 2012. Washington was previously engaged to actor David Moscow, from whom she split in 2007 after quite a few years together.

It's pretty clear that Asomugha hit the jackpot -- just look at her! But Washington didn't do too badly herself, either. How do we know Asomugha's a catch (other than being handsome, rich and in the NFL)? His last name is pronounced -- no joke -- pretty close to "awesome-wa." Or as this writer says it, "I-wish-he-played-for-the-Jets."
