Justin Bieber is a 19-year-old millionaire, so he has plenty of coin to throw around. But one person who apparently isn't getting any of it? His 61-year-old grandfather, George, who says it would sure come in handy.

The New York Daily News talked to Grandpa Bieber, who says the two are "on different planets."

“I can’t work due to illness, so there is barely any money coming into the house and we only just about get by,” he said. “[My wife] has a bad back, too, but works like a dog hauling huge bags of paint powder 40 hours a week.”

George is Justin's paternal grandfather (he sired Justin's biological father, Jeremy), and he says that while Justin's maternal grandmother is showered with everything from luxury cars to new houses, he's left out in the cold -- literally.

The disabled demolition contractor says he sleeps on a mattress in the family room of his Winnipeg home, and that their roof has a large hole where a tree fell through it during an ice storm -- a hole the elder Bieber doesn't have the money to repair.

“It does make me sad, as right now our life is pretty desperate," George said. “[Justin] was such a big part of our life, and now nothing. It’s like he is a stranger and now we barely know him. He never calls us, and now I sometimes think he doesn’t care."

Justin might never say never, but George just totally went there.

Grandpa Bieber does say that Justin has given them a television (to watch 'Wizards of Waverley Place' reruns, presumably) and some cash for Christmas, but that Justin hasn't visited in years.

“He will always be my grandson and I am, and will always be, so proud of him. It’s just sad he is not a bigger part of our life,” the down-and-out granddad said. “But I guess he is just too busy right now.”

In other words, all that macking on Selena Gomez must be keeping the Biebs' schedule pretty packed.
