In news we have no idea how to justify, Justin Bieber says he wishes Anne Frank would have been a fan of his.

No, seriously. He wrote that in the guestbook of her museum.

If you’re facepalming and/or making the same utterances you do when you stub your toe or step on a Lego, all are valid.

Bieber spent over an hour in the Anne Frank House, the name given the late Holocaust victim and diary keeper’s museum, in Amsterdam.

Staff from the museum posted Bieber’s message on their Facebook page: “Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Right. Not “Hopefully she wouldn’t have been killed by Nazis or be forced to camp out in an attic to hide from a hate mongering, anti-Semitic dictator.” Because let’s be real, that wouldn’t affect his ticket sales.

When asked for comment, people with any grasp on history replied, “Baby, baby, baby, no.”
