Former Hugh Hefner girlfriend and ‘The Girls Next Door’ reality star, Holly Madison, gave birth to a baby girl -- and her tasty placenta -- last week. The happy and possibly delirious mother, along with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella, chose to name their first-born child Rainbow, even though neither of them even existed in the 1960s.

But hey, if you don’t like the name Rainbow, Holly says you can bite it. Because she loves the name and has for a very long time.

Haters gon' hate, but Madison says her daughter will be just fine.

In a recent post on her CeleBuzz blog, the 33-year-old posted not only a photo of a rainbow manicure she got in celebration of the arrival of her bundle of joy, but a message for everyone who thinks she’s ruining her kid's life by saddling her with such a weird name.

She wrote, “I have always loved the name Rainbow. There was a girl in my school named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual.” She went on to say that the Rainbow from her school days was normal, well-adjusted and “sporty,” so clearly the name doesn’t ruin lives or traumatize children.

What Holly doesn't take into account is that maybe little Rainbow had to be sporty to hold her own during all those playground beatings.

Either way, the self-professed reformed “people-pleaser” doesn't care what the “smug haters out there” think, adding, "I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up for herself at a young age.”

For a woman who really doesn't want her daughter to end up nude in public, she's certainly given her a name that would easily roll off the tongue of any strip club DJ. But maybe she'll take an entirely different path.
