Two of the prettiest people on the planet are acting a little less ugly to one another.

After a tumultuous and sometimes violent week, Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry have finally come to a temporary agreement over the custody of their 4-year-old daughter Nahla.

PEOPLE reports that Berry's attorney, Blair Berk, said simply, "The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter."

The deal was worked out the same day an emergency protective order against Aubry from Berry's current fiancee, Olivier Martinez, was set to expire. That EPO, in addition to preventing Aubry from going near Berry or Martinez, prevented him from seeing Nahla.

(Based on how busted Aubry's once-beautiful face got at the hands of the boxer-turned-actor, maybe he should've extended that order for his own good.)

The custody battle originally began when Berry wanted to move to France to be with Martinez on his home turf, despite Aubry residing in the States. Which would've, you know, put Nahla an ocean away from her dad.

It escalated to a physical battle on Thanksgiving, when Martinez and Aubry got into a nasty altercation. Police believe Aubry was the instigator of the actual brawl, though it's unclear who started the verbal barbs leading up to it.

We're not sure what Berry and Aubry actually agreed to do, but hopefully it involves "not punching each other," "not bitching one another out in French" (man up, guys - do it in English) and "not being selfish enough to forget about and ignore the well-being of an innocent child."
