The Hollywood Foreign Press (they’re the cool kids who hand out the Golden Globes) posted a video of what it’s like to actually walk down the red carpet before the awards show.
From the moment they alight from their limos — or eco-friendly cars, depending on who they are and how dedicated they are to not wrinkling their designer duds before the show — the stars pass a litany of photographers, media outlets and bleachers loaded with fans before they finally arrive at the ballroom inside the Beverly Hilton where the awards themselves are handed out.
