Clooney can bridge generational gaps — like, you may not get along with your mom very well, but chances are you both think he’s attractive. The man can bring people together. And just think, that girl you don’t like very much at work probably thinks he’s hot, too. Clooney puts life in perspective! (All the hottest men do, really.)

Anyway! George Clooney has been hot since the ’80s when he first popped up on ‘Golden Girls’ and ‘Roseanne,’ and he continued to be hot throughout the ’90s, starring on ‘ER.’ And then he somehow got even hotter as the years went on. The man ages beautifully. And there’s something to his persistent bachelorhood that’s sort of alluring, too.
