‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movie Gets Its Christian Grey: ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Star Charlie Hunnam
Well, that didn’t take long. Barely an hour after it was announced that Dakota Johnson would play Anastasia Steele in the upcoming ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ movie, we now know who’ll fill the sadistic shoes of Christian Grey: ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Charlie Hunnam.
Once again, author E.L. James announced the news via Twitter:
The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

In addition, ‘Fifty Shades’ studio Universal issued a press release, mentioning Charlie’s previous movie credits include ‘Pacific Rim,’ ‘Children of Men,’ ‘Cold Mountain’ and ‘Nicholas Nickleby.’
Now that the leads have been cast and director Sam Taylor-Johnson is in place, production can begin — and hopefully wrap up in time for the highly-anticipated movie to make its scheduled North American debut on Aug. 1, 2014.
