Looks like one of Hollywood's most notorious cougars has cast aside another cub: Actress Eva Longoria, 37, and New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, 25, are kaput.

The couple had only been dating for a few months, but apparently "scheduling" conflicts got in the way.

“The problem was Mark is very focused on football, while Eva is a busy businesswoman," a source told Page Six. "She lives in Los Angeles, is doing a lot of philanthropic and political work, and is developing a number of TV shows, including the NBC dating series ‘Ready for Love.’ ”

Nice plug there, anonymous source-dude.

Sanchez is apparently "devastated" about the split, with the insider saying Mark is "telling friends he tried everything he could to make her happy, and to make things work between them, but they live in very different worlds.”

In a statement, the quarterback's rep said, "Mark adores and respects Eva. It really was about scheduling more than anything else. They will remain close friends."

Longoria famously divorced philandering 30-year-old NBA player Tony Parker last year. She obviously likes young pro athletes, so college players? Aim high, gentlemen. Aim high.
