Former Star Quarterback Dan Marino Admits Knocking Up a Co-Worker in 2005

Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino was one helluva player, but what you may not know is that his Father’s Days are jam-packed. He already has six kids with his wife of three decades, and it’s now been revealed that he knocked up a CBS employee in 2005, too.

Marino, who’s worked as an analyst for CBS since 2003 and will be covering this Sunday’s Super Bowl game, apparently had an affair with a production assistant named Donna Savattere, got her preggers, and then allegedly paid her millions in hush money to keep the whole thing a secret.

That’s a pretty big red mark on the record of a man whose past already includes a major role in ‘Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.’

“This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then,” Marino admitted in a written statement to the New York Post. “We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved … My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together. And we continue to be a strong and loving family.”

CBS also weighed in on the matter, saying, “Dan has said all there is to say on this matter, and will be in his usual role on our broadcast Super Bowl Sunday.”

News of his secret daughter reportedly leaked because the now 43-year-old Savattere got married a few years ago and wanted to change 7-year-old Chloe’s last name to that of her husband — and the resulting documents named Marino as the child’s biological father.

For what it’s worth, Dan has allegedly kept in touch with the little girl in accordance with a prior agreement.
