Chris Brown was facing some potential jail time in a hit and run case, in which it was alleged that he left the scene of an accident without giving proper identification -- which Brown denies, seeing as he complained on Twitter that he did indeed give her his driver's license information.

But because this is Chris Brown, and because he must have caught a leprechaun at some point in his life, his good luck came through yet again and the case was dismissed by a judge.

Prosecutors argued that Brown's actions deserved to be punished, telling a judge that Brown was very rude to the woman he hit (with his car this time), and that because he was on probation he should have never left the scene in the first place.

It should be noted that due to this incident, his probation was revoked in July.

The judge, however, didn't like any of these reasons and dismissed the case, siding with the victim who didn't want any money for the minor fender bender -- and he requested that the case be dropped, after previously dropping it in civil court.

Said Brown's lawyer of the whole thing, "The case never should have been filed in the first place.  It's unfortunate he was being prosecuted for who he is rather than what he's done."

Brown celebrated the victory on Twitter, for once actually reveling in something that TMZ wrote about him.

Huzzah.
