Today in Lindsay Lohan: Charlie Sheen Offered to Buy Her amfAR Gown + Her Lawyer Can’t Find Her
In case you were wondering where the beyond-broke Lindsay Lohan got the funds for her beaded nude, silver and gold Theia gown that she donned for the amfAR Gala in New York City, look no further than Charlie Sheen.
Sheen called designer Phillip Bloch and asked him to dress La Lohan for the event, offering to pay for half of her gown so she wouldn't have to resort to Forever 21 (or, as is more her style, theft).
"Never in a business like this do you see a celebrity pay for another celebrity," Bloch spilled to Us Weekly. "He's very considerate."
What's more, Sheen made the winning gesture himself - not through an assistant - and this was is in addition to the money he already gave Lohan to help pay her back taxes after they bonded on the 'Scary Movie 5' set.
“I asked her how much she was being paid, and she said $100,000, so I just gave her $100,000 of [the $250,000 I was paid],” he said of the generous donation to the Save a Hot Mess Fund. “Paying it forward.”
Meanwhile, Lohan's latest attorney du jour, Julia Azrael, can't control her -- and her sketchy new attorney, Mark Heller, may be to blame.
Photog Grigor Balyan has apparently been trying to get Lohan to sit down for a deposition in his lawsuit against her. (For those having trouble keeping track, Lilo's assistant apparently hit Balyan with her car in 2010 -- Lohan was sitting shotgun.)
Balyan asked the judge to fine Azrael and Lohan for not settling this sooner, but since Azrael is only repping Lohan for this particular case, it's not easy. "I have made many efforts to convince Lohan to appear for her deposition. I do not know how to reach her directly," Azrael wrote in docs to the judge.
Azrael claims that she has to go through Heller to reach Lohan, and Heller just isn't putting her through to the 'Liz & Dick' star.
Lilo may want to hit Sheen up for her legal bills. And chances are, she won't even have to earn it. Between Sheen and her three sugar daddies, maybe it finally makes sense why Lohan's shunning 'Dancing With the Stars' after all.
