Peter Robbins, the now 56-year-old child actor who once voiced Charlie Brown in all those 'Peanuts' cartoons, was recently arrested in San Diego on five felony charges, including one count of stalking and four counts of threats to cause death and bodily harm.

Good grief, bro.

According to Angelica de Cima, a spokesperson for US Customs and Border Control, he was arrested around 8:00 p.m. on Sunday when he was pulled over for further examination at the Mexican border. A systems check then revealed that Robbins was wanted by the San Diego County Sherrif's Department and had a felony warrant out for his arrest.

He was booked early Monday, Jan. 21, and was being held on $550,000 bail. He will be arraigned in court today, and his manager said she will make an official statement then. Which will probably read, “MWA MWA MWA MWA MWA MWA MWA.”

We assume the trouble started after someone gave him a rock for Halloween and then made him sit in a pumpkin patch all night. Or maybe he'd just finally had enough rejection from that little red-haired girl.

His psychiatrist, whom he has on retainer for $0.05 a session, could not be reached for comment.
