Color us delighted when former President Bill Clinton made a surprise appearance at the 2013 Golden Globes to present 'Lincoln,' one of the night's nominated films, and received a standing ovation in the process.

"A tough fight to push a bill through a bitterly divided Congress," said Clinton, referencing how hard it was for President Lincoln to actually get the 13th Amendment passed. He then managed to throw in a bit of a joke, noting how of course he didn't know "anything" about such issues, clearly referencing his time as Commander-in-Chief.

G'won, Mr. President. Whether it's the Democratic National Convention or an awards ceremony, you always have an audience in the palm of your hand.
