Beyonce and her team have been decidedly quiet about the lip-syncing scandal that erupted in the wake of Obama's 2013 inauguration -- until now.

The singer finally responded to all the Bey-sayers at the Super Bowl halftime press conference by singing 'The Star-Spangled Banner.' Flawlessly. A cappella, bitches.

Rather than opening the event in the usual way, Beyonce asked the audience to stand before belting out the national anthem in front of the applauding crowd in an exact replica of the version she performed on Jan. 28.

In a classy version of the mic drop, Beyonce then asked the assembled masses, “Any questions?”

And that, friends, is how you get schooled by Beyonce.

"I am a perfectionist. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra," she told the crowd of reporters. "Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check I did not feel comfortable taking a risk."

“It was about the President, the Inauguration. I wanted to make him and my country proud, so I decided to sing along to my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry,” she added.

Anyone who wants to complain now can only gripe that they've been royally pwned. They don't call her Sasha Fierce for nothin'.
