Albert Dekker – Death by Kink

You may recognize Albert Dekker from classic movies like ‘East of Eden’ and ‘The Wild Bunch’ and TV shows like ‘Bonanza,’ ‘Mission Impossible’ and ‘Rawhide.’

The cause of Dekker’s 1968 demise? Autoerotic asphyxiation. And while that's nothing new in Hollywood, what’s odd about Dekker’s death was how he was found.

He was naked in the bathtub wearing things like a blindfold, a noose (not tightened), a leash, handcuffs, and a ball-gag. As if that weren’t enough, several obscene words and a drawing of a vagina were lipsticked on his body.
