A.J. Buckley, who played lab tech Adam Ross on the now-canceled ‘CSI: NY,’ will soon have something new to occupy his time — a baby girl. He announced on Twitter yesterday that he and fiancee Abigail Ochse are expecting their first child, and posted a sonogram photo to boot.

Buckley’s rep also confirmed the news to PEOPLE, saying, “Abby is currently five months pregnant and the couple look forward to welcoming their new addition in early 2014.”

No word on when A.J. and Abby, an oncology nurse, will tie the knot, but in the meantime he’s staying busy producing the independent film ‘North of Hell,’ in which he stars along with Patrick Wilson and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ alum Katherine Heigl.
