She's already made her first public appearance since giving birth to her mystery-named baby to snag a Best Original Song win at the Golden Globes (to the delight of many and the chagrin of one), and now Adele will sing at the Oscars in her first onstage performance since becoming a mom.

Her James Bond theme 'Skyfall' is up for a nomination in the Best Original Song category alongside other tunes like Oscar host Seth MacFarlane's Norah Jones-voiced 'Everybody Needs a Best Friend' from 'Ted.'

This will be Adele's first live and televised US performance since last year's Grammys. She's spent the time away recuperating from vocal cord surgery and bonding with her behbeh.

No word yet on if she will perform solo or as part of the 50th anniversary tribute to the Bond franchise that's scheduled to take place.

"It's an honor to be nominated and terrifyingly wonderful to be singing in front of people who have captured my imagination over and over again," Adele said. "It's something I've never experienced and probably only ever will once!"

The singing will be glorious, we're sure, but given a tweet she posted at the Golden Globes -- "I just met Daniel f---ing Day Lewis!!!" -- what we really can't wait to see is her Twitter feed after the show.
