Amanda Seyfried chased the blues away in a navy Zac Posen gown with a tiered train at the 2013 SAG Awards. Even though she could do without the long, Lorraine Schwartz necklace, the strapless gown was wow-inducing.

The sapphire hue pooped against her peaches and cream skin tone, and the side parted waves she wore on one shoulder were soft, delicate and downright pretty.

The most stunning element of her dress was the train, which was tiered and ruffly (and, according to some of the style commentators, really heavy). She had a hard time climbing stairs in this ballgown-like concoction, joking on the red carpet that she hoped her movies didn't win any awards since she feared making her way to the stage in such a constricting garment. Oh, such first-world problems!

Dark dresses and side parts were the order of the day at the event, and the 'Les Miserables' actress was easily one of the best-dressed of the bunch. This was also a marked improvement from her 2013 Golden Globes Givenchy dress.

Seyfried said she was not "a fashion girl" before fame, but she could have fooled us. This is one of the best ensembles of her career so far.
