The theme of this year's Met Ball was 'Punk: From Chaos to Couture,' and while some celebs took the concept a bit too literally (hi, Miley!), actress Anne Hathaway got it just right in a vintage black Valentino gown.

A. Hath showed off her new, bleached blonde locks, and her gown had a bit of a see-through thing going on. She admitted that she was inspired by Debbie Harry of Blondie with her attire, and she was edgy but glam in a punk couture kinda way. This is what we call "nailing it."

(By the way, we think the fact that she wore Valentino was a make-good from the Pradagate drama/disaster at the Oscars, when she ditched her planned Valentino gown last-minute for a mousy pink Prada to avoid looking like her 'Les Mis' co-star Amanda Seyfried.)
